I didn't think George Bush said all those things on the sidebars here. BTW... didn't any Democrats ever say anything stupid? Is this place run by Democrats?

but even I, who knows very little about world politics (and was born and raised a republican) knew that the war/conflict in Iraq wouldn't/won't be over until George W. isn't president anymore.

I said this 4 years ago to all my so called friends at my country club (of which we only have two Democrat members) which stunned them, but they said I may be right.

Actually just to piss them off I’ve also said “This war won’t be over until Hilary becomes president.” Oh yeah did I mention that they’re all Racists and Anti-women doing anything other than cleaning house. Why did I join that club? Oh yeah, it has a nice golf course.

Please don't get me wrong, I voted for the President and yes, Democrats have said stupid things as well......but, today, its not what he's said, but what he's done that bothers me.

It bothers me that our tax dollars have paid nearly 500 billion dollars to open a can of worms which has created more terrorism in the world than has reduced it.

It bothers me that, anyone with even a slightly faint working knowledge of the Arab/Muslim world, which I happen to possess, could have predicted what would happen in Iraq, which I did, way back when it started.

If little old me could see what would happen, why didn't all the brilliant Washington tacticians catch on?

They were warned by most of the world leaders at the time but didn't heed.

Remember the so-called world coalition, which wasn't exactly a Who's Who of the world's great powers?

Even that's in shambles, with Spain, Italy, Poland and now Tony Blair withdrawing their troops.

Yeah, it bothers and baffles me that we voted for a man and a policy which has turned out to be one the major gaffes of modern history.
