The TXJ2754 is at the lower end of Samsung's line of 27" direct-view TVs, but it still has enough features and connectivity options to be a part of a modest home theater or bedroom setup. The 27" tube (measured diagonally) is tinted for enhanced contrast. Video presets (Standard/Sports/Movies/Mild/Custom) optimize contrast, brightness, sharpness, color and tint for the type of program you're watching.
This TV's receiver is able to receive 181 channels as well as stereo sound. The dual front-firing speakers can be switched off entirely if you're using a separate sound system. There are four audio presets and bass/treble controls for customizing your sound.
Convenience features include a universal remote control, the V-Chip parental control system, auto clock set and a variable sleep timer. You can manually label the channels for a more informative on-screen display. Front and rear-panel A/V jacks accommodate video gamers and camcorder enthusiasts.
