Launched in October 1999 antimtv.com was created to fill a desperate void left by MTV to promote aggressive music. Heavy metal has long left the airwaves when 'Headbangers Ball' was cancelled. "I initially wanted to create a place where you can come and watch any metal video at any time", says Erik Barath, "it has since expanded to reviews, news, articles, and interviews with the hottest bands". In addition AntiMTV have an entire section dedicated to unsigned talent called "fresh blood". This cybervillage of aggression is growing at light speed and is updated about two to three times weekly. Fans also contribute so it has become and interactive and proactive site. So if you like bands like pantera, slayer, slipknot, and about a hundred more, give us a look. You won't be disappointed.
