Yes, cigarettes are a major threat to one's health but so are major injections of Sodium Pentothal,Sodium Seconal, Barbiturates, currare and whatever else they pump in to stop the heart. See, that's just one of the many schizoid aspects of the death penalty in America. We want them dead but we want it to be "humane". Humane! We are killing these guys! Do you really think THEY CARE about how we do it?! NO! IT'S TO MAKE US FEEL BETTER. That we are somehow "better" than "They" are because when "We" kill someone, we do it "nicely". BULLFEATHERS! KILLING IS KILLING, IS KILLING! I say let the poor bastards have a cigarette. Hell, let them have a whole carton. I seem to recall that's what the last guy who got the chair in Sing-Sing wanted.
