Carolina Panthers running back Fred Lane was arrested on Feb 3, 2000 in Jackson, Tenn., on marijuana and weapons charges. Lane was arrested by the Jackson-Madison County Metro Narcotics unit along with three other men after Lane's blue Mercedes-Benz stopped in the middle of the street and the passengers got out to look in the trunk. When police approached the car, they found a loaded "assault-style rifle," in the open trunk and after searching the four men allegedly found misdemeanor quantities of marijuana on Lane and Bryant Peoples. Lane and Peoples were charged with drug possession, and all four men were charged with "carrying a weapon with intent to go armed." Lane and Peoples were released after posting $1,000 bond. The other two men remained jailed with the cases against the four men still pending.

He was acting like he was boning someone in the ass after he scored a TD against the Jets.
His team was getting blown out by 4 TDs and it was in the second half already.
This guy's a real maroon.
