BOGOTA - In a tragic, and truly bizarre case of cosmetic
surgery gone wrong, two young Colombian sisters who underwent liposuction together paid for the procedure with their lives. Police and judicial officials said the sisters died in the recovery room soon after the surgery. A recent survey of plastic surgeons in the United States suggested that more people die during liposuction than during many other types of surgery, perhaps because the procedure is often done too
