LECCO, Italy - Throwing rice at a wedding proved not to be a good

tradition for bride Paola Bonsangue. As guests

starting throwing rice at her and groom Burno Ratti,

she felt one of the rice grains slip into her inner

ear. Ratti along with several family members tried in

vain to remove the tiny piece. The bride was then

rushed to the hospital where doctors successfully

removed the grain of rice. The wedding reception was

delayed as guests anxiously awaited the bride´s return

from the emergency room.

A word of warning to the soon to be brides. Put down that mosquito netting thing on the way to the car.

Thank God it didn't happen in the US....they would have sued Uncle Ben for not warning people to not throw it at weddings.

Warning this package of rice contains small parts that may enter body orifices if hurled. These include the bride's ear and the grooms pee hole if his fly is down.

So next time only toss rocks, fist sized or larger please.

Oh BTW it's about fucking time PK!!! LOL.

My wish for the bride... (0 replies)

All they had to do was water it, wait for it to sprout, and just pull it out. That wouldn't have taken more than a week at worst.
