- A woman who once pleaded no contest to trying
to run down some children has been charged with shoving a
15-year-old boy in front of a bus, which nearly hit him. Alma
Sibert, 59, was jailed on charges including aggravated assault.
Ms. Sibert and the boy were arguing over her grandson and Ms.
Sibert shoved the boy in front of a bus. The driver swerved to
miss the boy. In 1995 Ms. Sibert was arrested after driving onto
a sidewalk outside an elementary school in an attempt to run
down eight children, including an 8-year-old boy she believed
had fought with her grandson.
