BUFFALO, New York (AP)
A robbery suspect has found out that sometimes you get what you ask for.

Police in Buffalo, New York, say the man taunted and threatened an officer after a robbery at a drug store. They say the suspect approached the officer, swinging a broom handle at him and saying, "Shoot me, just shoot me."

So, the officer shot him, in the head and the thigh.

The suspect is hospitalized in serious condition.

The chief of the Homicide Bureau says a preliminary investigation indicates the shooting was justified.

Maybee he should have said "shoot my wife please!!!"
