ANKARA (Reuters)
- A Turkish truck driver trying to
melt frozen diesel fuel in his fuel tank Thursday lit
a fire underneath it -- with
predictable results.
The Anatolian news agency said fire crews eventually put out the
blaze started by Nazim Canturkas he
tried to get his vehicle moving after an overnight stop on a
mountain pass.
The agency quoted officials as saying he had used a "very
dangerous technique" of overcoming the
problem of freezing fuel.
