Torrence, Calif. (AP) - An armed robber took $500 and two
bottles of Viagra from a pharmacy.
The man walked into the Walgreen's Pharmacy in this city
south of downtown Los Angeles and pulled a gun on three
employees, demanding the money and the mail anti-impotancy
drug, said Lt. Gil Kranke.
Each bottle contained 30 tablets. Each pill sells for about
$10.
Police believe the robber, described as a young man in his
20s, was likely planning to sell the drugs on the black market
rather thatn use them himself.
"He was pretty young to be needing something like that,"
Kranke Said.
