If you are like me ... you hate the mall, long lines and people digging for change at the register. There is nothing more annoying that having a sweet, kind 80 year old digging through her purse trying to fine the 98 cents that she needs instead of getting 2 cents back in change. This usually starts after she has been told the amount owed, twice. "Hold on Honey, let me see if I have the change." Bah! Humbug.
The day after Thanksgiving is the busiest shopping day of the year, and this hold true until the day after Christmas, which then becomes the busiest shopping day of the year. This gives the newscasters something to talk about.
In the past my wife has joined the lunatics on the Friday after Thanksgiving to start our shopping. Usually just for the kids presents. This year Toy-R-Us put their items on sale on Thanksgiving night so she was able to get all the shopping done before hitting the sack for the night. Sleeping in after Thanksgiving is great, sleeping in after Thanksgiving and have all of the shopping done is awesome! Let Amazon do the work!
Each day we would check her email address to find that another piece has shipped. By Tuesday all of the items were delivered, with free shipping.
