Well, it's done. Goofball is now a paid membership site. Now that all of the griping and complaining has ceased, I thought I would take a little time to say "thank you." The Goofball staff has endured so very much -- much more than I could. And yet, you all are still here; offering us a place to gather, have fun, and enjoy all sorts of various entertainment. To me, that is priceless. All of you have put so much of yourselves into making this site what it is today. It saddens me that so many people were and are completely ungrateful. You have taken time away from your families and other activities to keep this site up and running. It's too bad that some people are, or were, only concerened with themselves -- and not the big picture. I know we aren't out of the woods yet. However, we your faithful Goofballs, will do whatever we can to help. We want you to know how grateful we are that you just didn't give in -- and that you kept it going even when things looked their worst. We will continue to promote the site and try to bring in as many new members as possibly we can. Thank you, Goofball Staff -- for your dedication, your ceaseless and tireless work, and most importantly, your wonderful sense of humor. No matter, I don't always have time to be online like I might like, but so far I can't complain. I have spent 20 bucks on things that didn't last a day. I get to come here and read jokes and see funny toons for a year. :)
