Here Kitty VERNON, N.J. — Charles Whritenour, 36, faces animal cruelty charges after police found a cat boiling on his stove. He was admitted to a psychiatric hospital for evaluation after police made the gruesome discovery at his home. "He said it was his cat Gizmo," Patrolman Sean Talt said. "He mentioned to us he'd eaten cat at least a half-dozen times before, and dog once." Police were tipped off when one of Whritenour's roommates called a local social service agency. The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals plans to file charges against Whritenour. Would you like rice with that?
